Dr. Kurt A. Bailey

Dr. Bailey was born and raised in the Yakima and Spokane valleys. He grew up on a small fruit farm of grapes, pears and apples and later worked on and operated several other farms. After finishing high school, he continued his education at Brigham Young University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology (Health Care) and for one and a half years played goalie on the soccer team.

Then he moved to Portland, OR to attend chiropractic school at Western States Chiropractic College. Life in Portland was a lot of fun. This is where he met his wife (who was from Lewiston), and also received his second Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic Health Care.

In 1996 he opened Lewiston Family Chiropractic right here in Lewiston. He enjoys the small town atmosphere but can meet a new person every day. Chiropractic is a passion of Dr. Bailey’s and he enjoys helping everyone reach their optimum health through chiropractic care.

After mastering the art of Chiropractic and in order to better serve his patients Dr. Bailey continued his education and in 2007 graduated as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor. Although he was not able to actively pursue naturopathy due to legislation within the state of Idaho he continued his membership in the association and implemented natural health care into his thriving chiropractic practice.

Dr. Bailey continued his education and in 2011 graduated from Samford University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This degree allows Dr. Bailey to treat you, the patient, with the best care available. He can treat you through natural medicine, chiropractic adjustments and with main-stream medical care.

Although Dr. Bailey values his education and has focused on that for several years, he enjoys other things as well. First and foremost his family - He has a beautiful wife, Karen and two children, Kaysha and Kyden.
